Lower South Fork Skokomish Trail
Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult
Location: Three miles South of Potlach on Hwy 101, take the 1st major right after Skokomish bridge. Seven miles up will be a signed right hand gravel road to Brown Creek Campground - that road is FS #23 mainline. From Brown Creek Campground go up FS #2394, in 1/5 mile just past the bridge on the left is one of the accesses to the trail, or continue up #2394 another 3/4 mile to #2394012 to the left.
Description: Nice 8.9 mile trail that gradually follows the S. Fork of the Skokmish River uphill. Another great up and back trail in lowland old growth forest. Not very technical but quite fun and beautiful. Do it.
Elevation: Starts at 900' elevation ends 1,300' elevation - no major climbs or descents.
